A few good questions
Before you pull up a chair.
Do we need an account?
No. Enter your name, create a session and share the room link or code. Your teammates choose a name and join in their browser.
How does planning poker work?
Each teammate privately chooses a story point estimate. The host reveals the cards together, the team discusses differences, and you can vote again or move to the next story.
Can I bring stories from a screenshot?
Yes. Choose Import screenshot when starting a session or editing your stories. AI extracts the story titles into a list you can review and change before voting. No issue tracker connection is needed.
Who can reveal cards or change the stories?
The session creator is the host. Only the host can reveal cards, edit the story list, restart voting or move to the next story. Everyone can choose their own estimate.
What does the average estimate include?
The average includes numeric votes, including zero. Question marks and missing votes are left out. Use it to start a conversation, rather than as an automatic final estimate.
Is Planning Poker free to use?
Yes. You can create a room, invite your team and vote for free. Screenshot recognition has hourly and shared daily limits. If a limit is reached, the app shows how long to wait; you can still enter stories yourself.
